Difficulties With Accepting and living through a saved version of yourself while old habits, environments, and people are still consistent in your life.
God has changed me. He has changed something in me internally all because I was willing. I was/am willing to let go & give in to him. I am willing to put work behind it.
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to the mountain move from here to there and it will move.”
Matthew 17:20
God has taken the weight off my spirit that was weighing me down for years and years. The old pain that was in me internally displayed into physical habits, actions, and reactions that I took on as “who I am”. God is saying “You have changed you have grown, I need you to recognize that”
What’s left in me now are years of old habits that I used to cope with what’s inside of me. I have changed but my actions, reactions, and habits reflect the old me. That is why old ways of living do not bring me comfort. God has shown me a new way of living is possible. Old ways of thinking and old ways of doing don’t bring me an imitation of safety. That is why it’s important to make a different decision than I normally would every day to help that new version of me breakthrough. Create new actions that reflect who God has revealed internally.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!“
2 Corinthians 5:17
